You’re getting good at time traveling 🙂
The next email has been sent to your inbox. But for now…
You want to try this Avalanche thing out huh?
I don’t blame you…
The results this strategy produces are absolutely staggering.
Being able to rank your sites without spending money on backlinks is amazing for our wallets..
But how do we determine if we have a winning keyword?
We can use the KGR method and also a few keyword criteria…
“KGR” stands for “keyword golden ratio”.
A powerful keyword method that can allow people to rank in just a few weeks
(some even 2 days).
I know you’re interested now 😀
To determine if a keyword is “KGR” or not, we use a simple equation:
The number of Google results that have the keyword phrase in the title is divided by the monthly search volume, where the search volume is less than 250.
So allintitle results / search volume (250 maximum) = results
Any keyword under 0.25 is KGR and prime for the taking
0.25 to 1.0 is not really KGR but it may still work.
1.0 and above is not KGR, try to avoid it.
To find out the search volume of keywords we’ll use SEM Rush.
Navigate to the keyword overview tool on the left-hand side
Enter your main keyword (make it as broad as possible)
We’ll use the dog niche for example so we’ll enter “dogs” into SEMRush.
Scroll the page down and click on the View all keywords button under the Questions.
Long tails are where we’ll find our KGR keywords.
Set the search volume to 250 max
Set the KD % to 0%
We got 238 results that match our criteria
Now we have a potential list of keywords that we can start checking if they are KGR or not
Choose a keyword and navigate to Google search for this example we’ll choose:
“can a dog eat babybel cheese”
It has a 210 search volume on SEMRush. Our full search will be:
allintitle:can a dog eat babybel cheese
When you add “allintitle:” before your search, Google will bring up all the search results that have the exact keyword as the title.
Only 2 results 🙂
Now we can test our formula…
2 allintitle results / 210 search volume = 0.0095238…
Now we just have to find a few hundred more to really get our traffic going.
Ok, that’s great an all but what do we do if our website moves up a tier? According to the Avalanche method, we can’t use 250 search volume keywords forever….
You’re pretty smart you know that right?
Once our site begins to grow and move up traffic tiers we can use the following criteria below to determine whether or not we can use it for our site.
- No featured snippet, image pack, or video pack
- No e-commerce products
- The content for the top 1 to 3 results is thin (less than 1000 words)
- The content for the top 1 to 3 is not SEO optimized (no images/videos, internal/external links, table of contents, low keyword density)
- The content for the top 1 to 3 has little to no backlinks (user-generated content usually meets this requirement)
We can use SEMRush to bulk-check these criteria for our keywords.
If this seems like a lot of work…you’re right it is.
Doing this for hundreds of keywords is exhausting.
But, we have a better solution…
Let our team do all the keyword research for you.
Keyword research is crucial if you are a beginner you don’t want to screw this up (trust me).
Keyword tools like SEM Rush and Ahrefs charge $200 a month for access to their tools.
It’s quite expensive.
Especially if you are on a shoestring budget.
Besides, if you work with us.
We will save you countless hours of research.
Hundreds of dollars a month.
And give you piece of mind, knowing you’re getting help from a team that does nothing but focus on SEO all day.
(we really need to take a break lol).
The keyword service is a one-time fee.
And you’ll have a list of keywords that are perfectly organized.
With their traffic tier to use with the Avalanche method.
And KGR keywords are included as well.
